DMHS STUDENT PLACEMENT PROGRAM

DMHS is committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities through student placements within a variety of our programs and for a range of disciplines throughout the academic year. We believe strongly in cultivating an environment where students can acquire the skills and experience necessary to become successful professionals in their chosen career.

DMHS looks for students who are energetic, compassionate and demonstrate a passion within their chosen field of study. We welcome students studying in the Social Service Worker, Addictions and Mental Health, Personal Support Worker, Human Resources Management and Media Studies programs.

Our Student Placement program offers hands-on experience whereby the student’s primary role is to support and contribute to the goals and routines of the program while adding value wherever possible. Our students are able to meet their learning objectives through well rounded experiences and educational opportunities.
