Family members often play a huge role in supporting their loved ones on the journey from diagnosis to recovery.\u00a0 Knowing how\u00a0to successfully navigate and find mental health services\u00a0in the community goes a long way in\u00a0the success of that journey.<\/p>\n
The idea to create a comprehensive guidebook for family members and caregivers was an initiative of Durham Mental Health Services and Canadian Mental Health Association Durham. \u00a0Using a template from the Family Mental Health Network book From Rollercoaster to Recovery: a Guidebook for Families Navigating the Mental Health System in Wellington-Dufferin Counties<\/em><\/span> as inspiration, a task group was formed to gather relevant information and create a resource manual for families in Durham Region.<\/p>\n Now in its 3rd\u00a0edition, Pathway to Recovery offers up-to-date information and resources to support families and caregivers of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.<\/p>\n Download Pathway to Recovery<\/a><\/p>\n If you wish to purchase a copy of the guidebook, or\u00a0 would like sponsorship information, or if you have \u00a0comments or suggestions for future editions, please contact:<\/em><\/p>\n Pathway to Recovery
